Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
1. Overview
FinGuard ("we", "us") respects and protects user privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information when you use the FinGuard platform (including the website, Dashboard, API, and related services). By using our services, you agree to the terms of this policy.
2. Information We Collect
**Account information**: Email address, username, and organization name provided during registration.
**Project data**: Source code, smart contract addresses, Git repository links, and other materials you submit for auditing. We access this data only within the audit workflow.
**Usage data**: Access logs, IP address, browser type, operating system, page views, and feature usage statistics to improve service quality.
**Payment information**: On-chain transaction hashes and wallet addresses. We do not store private keys and do not collect traditional card payment details.
**Communications**: Content sent via demo booking forms, email, or in-platform support.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve FinGuard audit services;
- Process payments and send service notifications;
- Generate audit reports and security ratings;
- Analyze usage trends to improve product experience;
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats;
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations.
4. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including but not limited to: AES-256-GCM encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, multi-tenant isolation, least-privilege access controls, and regular security audits. While we make every effort to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security of internet transmission or electronic storage.
5. Source Code & Audit Data
Source code and contract data you submit is used solely to perform audit services. We do not use your code to train AI models, sell it, or provide it to third parties in any form. After an audit completes, you may request deletion of stored code snapshots at any time.
6. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party infrastructure (such as cloud providers and on-chain data APIs) to operate the platform. These third parties are governed by their own privacy policies. We select vendors that meet data protection standards and contractually restrict how they may use your data.
7. Cookies & Analytics
We use essential cookies to maintain session state, CSRF protection, and language preference. Optional analytics cookies are used only if you accept them via the cookie banner. You can change your choice anytime by clearing site data for finguardaudit.com, or manage preferences in your browser.
8. SkyEye public project discovery
SkyEye may discover publicly available project websites and social links (for example homepage, Twitter/X, Telegram, Discord, GitHub) for on-chain contracts that appear in public blockchain data. We only read public pages and public APIs; we do not log into third-party accounts or bypass access controls. Requests identify ourselves as FinGuard-SkyEye and include contact details. If you are a project owner and want your listing's discovered social fields cleared or excluded from future discovery, contact [email protected] or use the in-platform contact form.
9. Data Retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account remains active. Audit data (code snapshots, scan results, reports) is retained for 12 months from audit completion and then automatically deleted, unless you choose to extend retention. You may request early deletion at any time via the console or by contacting us.
10. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access personal data we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Request deletion of your personal and audit data;
- Export a copy of your data;
- Withdraw consent for data processing.
To exercise these rights, contact [email protected].
11. Policy Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notice. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
